Studio180degree has invited the elegant solid brass Fazeley Flow watering can back to Clapton/London. This aesthetic utilitarian design is exclusively available at our studio with a tactile natural rattan bound handle that is handwoven at our studio in Clapton/London, the birthplace of Haws watering cans.
The polished solid brass with its golden gleam combined with the natural rattan material feels warm and refined and elevates the mindful act of plant care. Over time, the natural rattan cane naturally darkens and the fine unlacquered solid brass changes its colour tone resembling aged gold (if not polished), earning a fine honest patina, like honest quality natural materials do. Solid brass has natural antimicrobial properties, which can help to keep water fresher.
Ancient texts describe the five sacred metals as the earthly mirrors of cosmic elements. Brass is associated with the element of earth, carrying warmth and symbolises patience, stability and devotion.
