Our “Lenape chair” on display @BoConcept flagship store at Tottenham Court Rd during London Design Festival 2013
LENAPE CHAIR We wanted to fuse BoConcept’s given theme “Sit Less Play More” and “Kids Company”, the charity who will receive the proceeds from auction. Both subjects are reflected in the playful patterns, chosen colours and textures of the design. The design should remember the viewer of happy childhood memories of playing “Cowboys and Indians”, so the given name “Lenape Chair”, derived from a Native American tribe called “Lennie Lenape”. “Lenape Chair” invites the viewer to bring in a more playful and positive approach to the everyday life and its challenges.
